Try Gokarna , It's Fabulous :-) It's Quiet , Calm Waters , Cheap Shacks and Good Food and it's not too commercial so you won't have people troubling you . It's just before Goa . I personally love that place :)

I was in Pondicherry and Goa (north). January is part of the peak season, so prices are bit expensive. February, i think the demand decreases. Anjuna y Baga are nice beaches but crowded on weekends. Nice seafood. Order goan curry and pomfret tandoor…

I've been in Bangalore since June 09 and work as a Graphic Design lecturer at a new(ish) design school in Koramangala. I'll probably be here another 18 months, depending how long i can handle the horns. This is my first time living outside of the UK but i've seen a fair bit of the world as a tourist. I speak the Queen's English and Cockney.

My hobbies include: making arty stuff, viewing arty stuff, drinking overpriced cocktails and mixing records that probably don't fit together.

CHECKLIST FOR VISA EXTENSION

Thanks to Mike , who posted on the IVES Mailing List. Here it is for the future refrence on new people.

The whole process took 3 months so start in time... apperntly the application has to be signed by 12!!! people, just love the administration here... Then finally got a stamp on both passport and residential permit with the extention...
